Rasta

Rasta brings to his classes the energy and spirit of Capoeira from Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, the birthplace of Capoeira. He has been teaching in Canada since 1999
Rasta started training capoeira in the streets and beaches of Bahia with his friends and in Government funded projects such as "Sudesb" and "Fonta Nova". Four years later, he joined Abada Capoeira group, and has been with Abada Capoeira group for 15 years now.
Because he understands how hard it is for parents to afford out of school activities his dream is to some day, have a capoeira project where children of any age can learn this amazing sport for free.
He welcomes capoeira students of all levels. Feel free to come to class and play.
